Abbey and Nora are not yet ready for adoption. We are still evaluating their personalities and addressing their medical needs. An email notification will be sent when they become ready for adoption. If you wish to receive the notification, please sign up for our mailing list at the top of the front page of our website. Adoption fees are set at the time a dog goes available and applications can only be submitted at that time. Please follow our website and social media pages for updates on Abbey and Nora!

Please help us welcome two beautiful girls, Abbey (she is the one with spots on her back) and Nora (she has an entirely white belly), to the Village. They were a breeder surrender in FL and came with stitches in their bellies from having c-sections. They are littermates and are approximately 2 ½ years old. Abbey’s stitches were overdue to be removed and had overgrown. Nora came with an ear infection and is on antibiotic ear drops. They also both have splayed feet from standing on wire crates. Otherwise, they are healthy and clear of heartworms and other parasites.

Abbey is a serious lover and is always up for kisses and rubs. She is by your side anytime you are eating. She has absolutely no problem going into her crate as long as you give her a treat. Nora, on the other hand, is not as treat driven and is a bit timid/scared, but she is warming up. Initially, she was very scared to go through a door and wanted her person to go through first. However, she is much more comfortable with it now and will go through by herself.

Nora and Abbey have their own dog beds but prefer to snuggle and share one bed together. They love to play and are very energetic. Nora likes to try and go under Abbey’s body to sort of flip her over or trip her to play. They are not potty trained, so their foster family is working on getting them to potty outside.

They will make a great addition to a forever home when they are ready for adoption. However, since they are a bonded pair, they will need to be adopted together.

We greatly appreciate any and all donations….$500 will help us provide Abbey and Nora with some basic essentials, such as food, bowls, harnesses and leashes.
