Bentley was lovingly surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him. He was born on 3/3/13. He is a brindle neutered male with a white chest. Bentley was having difficulty climbing the stairs at his old home and was getting winded and started panting. We had him checked out and he is a very healthy boy, but needs to shed a few pounds. He did see a cardiologist and had an ultra sound. His heart does have a few leaky valves, but they were not concerning. The cardiologist did say that he needs to be checked out a year from now, just to be sure.

Bentley weighs in at a whopping 36lbs, but is well on his way to a trim figure. Bentley will need a forever home that will be committed to keeping his weight down. He will need exercise and a healthy lifestyle. He is also slightly itchy and the vet recommended a daily Zyrtec to keep him from scratching. It seems to help.

Bentley loves everyone he meets. He is a very calm and submissive boy. He gets along with all dogs and especially loves his foster fur siblings. Play time is encouraged for some good healthy exercise! He has not been tested with cats. He would be good with children over 10. This boy and can play hard and likes to give little nibbles to show affection. He loves to snuggle and is completely housebroken. He was living in a big city and he is used to doing his business on sidewalks. This might mean that he will poo on your sidewalks, driveway or patio. He just needs a little direction on where to do his business.

Bentley is one of those rare Frenchies who has very few health issues! Bentley is a dream Frenchie and will make someone very happy in his forever home.
