Brixton in Delaware– ADOPTED!!

Brixton was surrendered at 6 months old due to possible aggression issues with small children in his former home. He has not shown any aggression in his foster home though. He is a happy, playful puppy.

Brixton loves people and dogs, big and small. We are unsure how he would do with cats and birds. He is high energy and wants to play all the time, so he would do better with a younger or very active dog. He loves kids, but due to his energy level, would be best in a home with kids 8 years and up.

Brixton likes to run around, chase and wrestle with his foster doggie sisters. He likes toys of all types especially, antlers, Nylabones, squeaky toys, and rope toys. He loves his toys but will easily give them up if a larger dog wants them. While he gives the toys up, this is the only time he will bark - until he gets the toy back, then he will stop.

He’s still learning his puppy manners, so he needs an owner who will be firm and teach him how to be the best boy he can be. He is a little mischievous and will steal your shoes if left out. He does well in his crate and sleeps in it through the night. However, if given the opportunity to sleep in bed with humans, that is his preference.

Brixton is still working on his housebreaking skills but is almost there. He does sit quietly near the door when he needs to go out, so you need to be aware of where he is. While he would prefer a fenced yard, one is not required as he does well with several walks a day. He also travels well in the car and loves to go with his foster family when possible.

Brixton is a happy, sweet pup who just wants to be loved. He wants to please you and loves to cuddle with his humans whenever possible. He deserves a forever home where he will have unconditional love and in return, he will give you tons of puppy kisses.
