Izzy in Florida- RIP

UPDATE 4/3/2018: 

It is with great sadness that we let the Village know that foster Izzy crossed the Rainbow Bridge this past weekend.

RIP Dexter

Foster boy Dexter had a massive seizure and passed away. Dexter has never had a seizure before or showed signs of anything medically wrong with him. The family got him into a vet asap but he was already gone. Please hold your hands and hearts out to his foster parents as they mourn their little charge and please hug your own dogs just a little bit harder today…

Tank in Florida—ADOPTED!!

UPDATE 12/11/2017:

Since being taken in by the Village, Tank has been diagnosed with epilepsy. A holistic approach to treating his seizures is being attempted first before other treatment options are considered. Tank has not had surgery yet for his cherry eye and still needs to be neutered. Please keep this boy in your thoughts and stay tuned for more updates!

Penelope in Massachusetts- ADOPTED!

Baxter in North Carolina- ADOPTED!

UPDATE 1/22/2018:

Baxter was adopted by her foster family when the biopsy of the mass in her throat came back as cancer. The Village is very happy that she gets to stay in such a loving home!

UPDATE 12/1/2017:

Baxter had surgery to remove a growth on her lip and is doing very well. The vet also removed a bunch of her teeth and biopsied a nodule that was found in her throat.

Larry in Arizona – RIP

It is with a very sad heart that we let the Village know that foster boy Larry passed away.

Foster mom said, “Larry had multiple seizures yesterday. We rushed him in for treatment but he continued to seize even after multiple injections. He also developed aspiration pneumonia from vomiting between the seizures. I know we tried our best but ultimately the best thing to do was to put him down. I’m so glad to haven […]
