Villagers, we have a great update for you on our alumna, Lolita!!

We contacted Lolita’s forever mom who informs us that Lolita is doing well. Her mom reports, “she still (very much) dislikes other dogs and cats, but tolerates her current situation as we intentionally set up our home so that she is safe and happy and our other dogs are safe and happy and all seems to work out okay. It is not ideal […]

Lola’s mom informed us that she is now blind and her hearing isn’t great, but she still loves to eat and will do a little dance to let her family know when […]

Chavo in New Hampshire– ADOPTED!!!

September 19th, 2018|

Chavo has a new home! We are so happy that he has found such a wonderful new forever family. Congratulations little man! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chavo! His life story is not a pretty one, but dogs like Chavo are what the Village is all about.

Before coming into the Village, Chavo lived in a crate only being taken out for potty and breeding purposes….Talk about a sad six years out of his life! NO fluffy bed, no cuddles, […]

Jet in Texas— ADOPTED!!!

September 18th, 2018|

Jet is a 1 year, 3.5 month old cutie who is full of energy and a little on the tall side. He was purchased from Craigslist for the children in his previous home. However, he was tearfully surrendered with his littermate, Rose, because of Jet’s energy level and the destruction the two were causing in the home. The Village decided to separate the two because of their naughty behavior when together. Rose has already […]

Grace is such a sweet soul and deserves nothing but the best so her foster mom and everyone at FBV are very excited that she […]

September 11th, 2018|

Congratulations Valentina…You are home!!! Valentina moved in with her FURever family this past weekend. Everyone is ecstatic that she has joined the family!

Valentina is 7 years young, spunky and quite the looker. She was surrendered by her former family due to V disliking their son. Her aggression towards the son progressed over 3 years and in that time, he was bitten 3-4 times.

Miss Valentina suffers from allergies, environmental and food related. She requires […]

Happy Gotcha Day to Alum, Bella!

September 4th, 2018|

Last week was Bella’s Gotcha Day. Bella is an alum of FBV and was pulled from a high kill shelter in Charlotte, NC in 2009. She was very sick and bald with mange at that time. She was up for euthanasia unless a rescue pulled her, but thanks to FBV, she made it into the Village. She is the brindle girl in the video and is estimated to be 11 or 12 now. Sophia […]

It has been 4 weeks since Winston was adopted and he is doing very well in his forever home!

We had a quick vet visit a couple of weeks ago to get Winston on a wellness program and to get a subscription for his food. We also added treats (there is an HP version) which we will be using frozen in a […]
