Holly, aka Halle Berry (part of the GA gang), has passed away

April 11th, 2017|

Our beautiful foster French Bulldog, Holly (aka Halle Berry) of the GA gang, crossed the rainbow bridge in her sleep 4/9/2017 very peacefully in her foster mom’s living room. Since she was headed for a consult appointment with a specialist on 4/10/2017, it seemed like the right decision not to rush her to the ER as she exhibited no signs of distress. Poor baby…..she was suffering more than we knew. All the great doctors at her […]

Oscar in Michigan

April 11th, 2017|

Meet Oscar, he’s a smaller boy at 21-22 pounds but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in personality. In some ways this is great in other ways not so much. So he’s with one our very experienced fosters getting a tune up!
Oscar was born on October 25, 2014 which makes him a younger Frenchie. He was surrendered to our rescue due to behavioral issues. He was showing possessive behavior in his […]

April 8th, 2017|

Meet Daisy, a young French Bulldog who came into our rescue with a bad case of mange that her owner tried several times to clear up. The mange outbreak along with Daisy’s allergies just proved too much for them to handle and they surrendered her to the Village. Her foster Mom has gotten the mange cleared up and the allergies under control and Daisy is feeling much better skin wise! However, Daisy is currently […]

Run Free Vito

April 1st, 2017|

We received some very sad news from the forever family of Vito, a FBV alum.

“I don’t know what to write really. He was such a strong boy. He came to us unable to walk and ended up hiking mountain trails. He loved being outside and on the water and we’d always joke that he was a lab in a Frenchie body. We feel so lucky to have been his parents. He was available for adoption […]

Dax living life to its fullest with his new family!

April 1st, 2017|

And so, the next dog we decided to bring to you is Dax.
Dax’s mama has this to say about her fine boy:

“Dax is a welcome addition to our family. He is a French Bulldog/Chihuahua mix that was owner surrendered.  After having a French Bulldog, and never having a Chihuahua, I noticed we divided his traits into two categories. French bulldog or Chihuahua.  Of course, that seems rather silly, because all of his traits are […]

Luke, formerly Arnie, in his forever home!

April 1st, 2017|

This is the story we received from Tom and Jennifer regarding our adoptee Luke.  When Luke was with us, his name was Arnie.
In November 2015, Luke was adopted by Tom and Jennifer who live in Tempe, Arizona.
“Luke (formerly Arnie), came to us a scared, insecure little guy just coming off major back surgery.  After he was with us for a bit and fully recovered from his surgery, severe aggression and resource guarding issues […]

Butch was born 8/22/2005 and is another member of the GA gang. He has been neutered and is current on vaccinations. This poor little guy is mostly blind and has a pretty wobbly back end, but that doesn’t stop him. He is happy and full of love. Butch has had numerous health issues over the course of his life, but The French Bulldog Village is determined to find the best course of action for this fella.

His foster […]

Lover Boy in Florida (another member of the GA gang)

March 30th, 2017|

Lover Boy was born on 1/14/2008 and is another “GA” frenchie. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and is an active, happy boy. Lover Boy came to the Village very itchy and with a pretty complex perineal hernia on the left side of his anus. The hernia has been there for a long time and is not bothering him currently. FBVillage is looking at all the options for improving this boy’s health.

Lover Boy is not a […]
