Memorial for Ellie (formerly Fiona)

August 22nd, 2017|

Ellie’s forever parents sent this amazing memorial for us to share about their precious little girl:

“Ellie passed away at home on June 19, 2017. We were and are devastated by her loss. We wanted so much more for our little princess—we wanted to share the world with her, and to share her with the world. Ellie was so many things: happy, playful, insistent, funny, mischievous, clever, stubborn, indulgent, but mostly she was love incarnate. […]

Chauncey in Virginia – ADOPTED!

August 22nd, 2017|

UPDATE:

Because Chauncey is an older guy at the age of 11-1/2 and suffers from a multitude of health problems (plus he is partially deaf and blind), French Bulldog Village believed it was in his best interest to not be moved to the available page. It was felt that a move would be too stressful for this senior boy. That being said we would like to announce that Chauncey has been ADOPTED! His foster mom […]

Devlin in Florida

August 22nd, 2017|

UPDATE 9/30/2017:

Devlin and his foster mom weathered Hurricane Irma, but life is just now starting to get back to normal. Devlin’s foster mom’s house suffered some damage from the storm, so Devlin stayed with another volunteer for a little while so that he could get back on track with his potty training. He’s a stubborn little guy but is smart and is finally catching on. You just have to be more stubborn than him

He […]

Ralph in North Carolina- AVAILABLE!

August 14th, 2017|

Ralph is a senior boy who is as sweet as can be! He hasn’t had the best life. His early years are unknown, but we do have information that Ralph lived in a barn for much of his life. He had allergies and chronic ear infections that were left untreated. A Good Samaritan found Ralph listed on Craigslist and brought him into their family. When their family expanded and a young baby came into […]

Jack in North Carolina–ADOPTED!

August 14th, 2017|

Hi everyone! My name is Jack. I was surrendered to French Bulldog Village due to allergies and because I wasn’t the right fit for my previous family.

My foster mom took me to see the vet and the nice vet lady said that I am very cute (but, of course). She also said that I am pretty healthy for a 4 year old. My only health issue is severe allergies (I know I’m not the […]

Larry in Arizona

August 2nd, 2017|

Hey there ladies and gents! My name is Larry. I am 22 months old and weigh 29 lbs. I am neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. I was rehomed because I was having seizures and my previous family was no longer able to afford my care because of having to provide for three young human children.

I will miss my previous family but am very excited to have joined the Village and to be residing with […]

Butch in Florida has been ADOPTED!

July 28th, 2017|

Butch is another boy from the GA gang, numerous frenchies that were surrendered by one owner in GA. Butch is the most laid back foster dog his foster mom has ever had! He’s a mellow dude that loves to just wander around and flop down for a nap whenever the mood strikes him. He’s definitely a follower! He reminds his foster mom of a sweet old man just enjoying his days with nothing to […]

Lover Boy in Florida- AVAILABLE!

July 28th, 2017|

Lover Boy was part of the Georgia gang that was taken in months ago from one home in GA. Lover Boy probably earned his name because he would mount other dogs. However, he was recently neutered and this has eliminated this behavior. This is definitely wonderful news, because mounting is certainly one of those habits that everyone would love for their dogs to avoid.

Lover Boy suffers from allergy and skin issues, but they are […]

Murph, formerly Moose, is with his forever family!

July 27th, 2017|

What can we say about this little guy? Our Alumnus, Moose, is now known as MURPH.  MURPH was adopted on September 11, 2016. Imagine, that date was HIS LUCKY DAY.  Not only that, but MURPH is lucky, as he gets to live in New York City, New York.

When asked about what the husband and wife knew about French bulldogs, one of their answers was “they have a huge personality and lots of character.”  The […]

Alumna Snort (previously Lulu)

July 24th, 2017|

Today the FRENCH BULLDOG VILLAGE RESCUE brings you our alumna Snort.  When Snort was part of the VILLAGE, she was known as Lulu.  Lulu was adopted in 2015.

This is her story:

When Snort’s mom first saw our email, she thought we had sent it to the wrong person.  Michelle totally forgot who Lulu was and that she had changed her name.

Snort is doing great.  According to her mom, she plays all the time.  Occasionally, she […]
