UPDATE 6/18/2017:

Charm is doing very well in her foster home. Charm’s foster mom changed her to Royal Canin dog food which seems to be helping her bowels. While she still has runny poos, she has put on some weight. You can’t see her hip bones anymore!  She also has been making it outside better to go potty.

She is still a little afraid of doors. She will stand in the doorway and if you call her to go in or out the door, she will act like she is in trouble. Her foster mom is working on building her confidence for entering and exiting through doors so that she doesn’t get scared.

Charm has been getting to go on some really cool outings with her foster mom. She went with her foster mom to her PT appointment and hung out with the girls at the reception desk. They said she was really good! Charm just wanted to see everyone that came into the office.

Please enjoy the new photos of Charm!

Charm is a 7 year old beautiful Frenchie who weighs 20 lbs. She is a sweet and loving little gal! She is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been recently spayed.

Charm loves to eat and is not picky at all! However, she does have a sensitive stomach and soft stools. Her previous owner was feeding her chicken and rice along with ‘Purina ONE SMARTBLEND Sensitive Systems Formula’ kibble. Her foster mom is working on finding a new diet that will help Charm’s belly and firm up her stools.

It has been observed that Charm licks her paws at least several times a day indicating that she may suffer from some allergies. She is, however, easily redirected from licking them and seems to lick them less when an antibacterial/antifungal spray is applied.

Charm appears to be fully housebroken; although, she has not been in foster care long so there is still a chance of her having accidents in the house. Charm gets along with other small dogs, but so far has shown that she can get a little overwhelmed when there are too many new, rambunctious dogs trying to play with her.

Charm will walk on a leash but is sometimes hesitant. She does love being outside, though, in a fenced yard where she does not need to be on leash. Charm has a cautious personality and can be very timid at first. However, she warms up quickly and is quite the lover. She loves giving kisses and is a cuddle bug!

Charm is a sweetheart and will make whoever adopts her very lucky!
