Margaret along with her companion, Winston, were found abandoned. Margaret is a sweet 20 lb. light fawn, frenchie. She is a sweet girl, who just wants to be someone’s shadow. Margaret is working on her house training manners in foster care. Although she gets along with Winston, she does not care for any of the female dogs she is sharing her foster home with. She is now ok as long as they keep a distance from her. She follows her foster mom around and is very quite and calm. She will be available for adoption once she is spayed and has some dental work done. Margaret has had puppies and has a c-section scar to prove it. Her teeth are in need of a cleaning and she needs one tooth extracted. On one side her back molars are very worn as she probably spent most of her time caged and just like Winston, her companion, chewed on her cage. Margaret and Winston may be adopted together with an adoption fee of 750.00. If not adopted with Winston, she will be placed in an only dog home where she can get all the love and attention she deserves. So keep your eye out for this lovely, little frenchie to be available for adoption mid January.
Margaret is a rescue placement!

What you read here is based on Margaret’s observed behavior while in her current foster home.
Margaret was found along with Winston, her companion, abandoned. They were turned over to rescue in order to find them a good home where they will get the love and attention they both crave and deserve. Margaret’s ideal home is with someone who is home a lot with her. She probably has spent most of her time caged having puppies. She has a c-section scar to prove past motherhood. Her teeth on one side are very worn where it is believed she probably chewed on the cage wires out of boredom. If not adopted with Winston then she will be placed where she is an only dog. She is too uneasy with other dogs especially those that play loudly or rough. She prefers a quite environment and loves to just hang out with her person. She does love attention, but is content laying near someone or sitting watching while you cook or do things around the house. Margaret is not completely house broken, she still has small accidents mostly on rugs. She needs someone who has the patience to work with her on sharpening her potty training skills. She does pretty well with crate training and being on a schedule. If you think you can give Margaret a quite environment where she can be your shadow and companion. If you are home most of the time and have no other dogs, and have the patience to work with her on her potty training skills, please apply for this sweet little girl. She is well worth the time sown into her in order to reap the benefits of companionship she has to offer.
