Frida is not yet ready for adoption. We are still evaluating her personality and addressing her medical needs. An email notification will be sent when she becomes ready for adoption. If you wish to receive the notification, please sign up for our mailing list at the top of the front page of our website. Adoption fees are set at the time a dog goes available and applications can only be submitted at that time. Please follow our website and social media pages for updates on Frida!

Introducing Frida! She is a one-year-old female Frenchie suffering from IBD. Her owners tried everything and just couldn't afford further diagnostics. They surrendered her to FBV for us to get her the help she needs.

She is being fostered in Hawaii which is a new adventure for us as she is our first foster dog in Hawaii. Both her foster mom and foster dad work with animals, so we know she is in good hands.

So far things are going well in her foster home. She is a total sweetheart and is getting along with the other pets in the house. She is currently grossly underweight and right after she eats anything, bloody diarrhea drips out of her. She will posture to go but all that comes out is blood. Her foster home has her wearing diapers until her symptoms improve.

We are hopeful that we can help Frida on her road to recovery. Please watch for updates on how Frida is improving!

We greatly appreciate any and all donations! $300 will help us provide Frida with some basic essentials, such as a harness and leash, as well as help us cover some of her vet bills.
