Juju in Florida- ADOPTED!!

Due to the severity of Juju’s needs and the amazing job her foster family has done caring for her, FBV has decided it is in Juju’s best interest for her to stay right where she is. Her family will continue providing her with physical therapy and hydrotherapy to improve her strength and mobility which were affected after she went down in the back end and required surgery to repair a couple ruptured discs.

Juju is one lucky lady to have fallen into such an amazing home. We are thrilled she has loving parents who will provide her with all she needs. She will want for absolutely nothing in life!

Meet Juju!!

Juju is an adorable, unaltered 18-month-old female who came to FBV from a breeder after she went down in the back end. She was seen by our neurologist and found to have deep pain sensation. An MRI was immediately performed as well as surgery on 3/29 after the MRI showed she had ruptured L1 and L2.

Juju is now home with her foster mom and is on medications and strict crate rest following her surgery. Foster mom is expressing her bladder as needed and is doing some home physical therapy that was prescribed by the surgeon. Juju has not yet met the other dogs in in her foster home, so we are not yet sure how she is with them, but she has been very sweet with people.

Juju will be with FBV for a while as she recovers and gets spayed.
