In November 2015, Luke was adopted by Tom and Jennifer who live in Tempe, Arizona.
“Luke (formerly Arnie), came to us a scared, insecure little guy just coming off major back surgery.  After he was with us for a bit and fully recovered from his surgery, severe aggression and resource guarding issues […]

Lover Boy in Florida (another member of the GA gang)

March 30th, 2017|

Lover Boy was born on 1/14/2008 and is another “GA” frenchie. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and is an active, happy boy. Lover Boy came to the Village very itchy and with a pretty complex perineal hernia on the left side of his anus. The hernia has been there for a long time and is not bothering him currently. FBVillage is looking at all the options for improving this boy’s health.

Lover Boy is not a […]

Gem in Virginia (part of the “GA gang”)

March 30th, 2017|

Gem (unofficial nickname of “Naughty Pants”) is another boy from the Georgia gang. This boy might be 9 but has a lot of life to him! He is a little wonky on his back feet but that does not stop him from chewing anything and everything! He has destroyed toys, chews bones, benches, tables, rugs, cardboard, beds, leashes and a harness, pretty much anything he can put into his mouth!

Potty training is going well; […]

Patches in Florida (a “GA gang” frenchie)

March 29th, 2017|

Patches came to us from a large scale breeder surrender situation in Georgia. He is a shy boy and though his foster Mom has worked hard to build his confidence, more work in this area will be needed. Patches is a sweet boy who unfortunately has the feeling that he has done something wrong, so things like loud voices tend to make him cower. His adoptive family needs to help him understand that he’s […]

March 28th, 2017|

Joey was born on 1/14/2008 and is part of the “GA gang” (numerous frenchies that were surrendered to FBV from one home in Georgia). Joey weighs 21 lbs and has one floppy ear. The vet found that his ear canals are small which is likely from chronic infections. Joey suffers from allergies and licks his feet so he is taking Apoquel to help manage these issues. He has been neutered and is up-to-date on his […]

Our alumna Daisy

March 27th, 2017|

We contacted Rose and Sabine to see how Daisy is doing.
Daisy was surrendered by her original owner at the age of three months. The owner could no longer take care of her. Imagine how lucky Daisy was when Rose and Sabine showed up in August 2016 to adopt her.
This is what they have to say about Daisy today:
“Sabine and I feel blessed to have been chosen as Daisy’s  forever family. Not to mention her […]
