Oh Miss French, Welcome back to the Village!

That’s right, unfortunately, Miss French’s adoptive family made the difficult decision to bring her back to the Village after Missy’s desire for dominance proved to be too much for their household.

If you have previously applied for Miss French, we will need a new application for her current adoption. In the application, please explain how you will handle her special needs.

This is no shrinking violet; she is the quintessential Diva girl, as most who know Frenchie girls will understand. She believes she should be the center of attention, rule the roost and deserves nothing but the best. She is a very dominant girl who needs structure and a firm, yet gentle handler. In return, she will provide you with love and devotion.

She is a five year old spayed female, who is up to date on her vaccinations and has a clean bill of health. She has had a difficult beginning in life. Rescued from a puppy mill, she found herself with a small breed rescue whose owner became gravely ill. Fate brought her here  to The Village, where we are thrilled to have her. In her foster home we have had the chance to get to know her very well, and she is a delight. She walks well on a lead and loves to go for strolls and socialize with anyone that will let her! While keeping close to her person, she does well in a public. Miss French loves all people !

Miss French does like to be the boss. However, she does do well with other dogs that do not overtly challenge her. If she does react, she is called off easily with a verbal command. For this reason, we are not recommending that Miss French find her forever home with small children.

Her Foster Mom has been diligently working on her Housebreaking. She does not do well in a crate, as she gets very upset, pacing and carrying on, possibly wetting herself. Her forever home will need to continue working with her on her housebreaking and remember that she began her life in a puppy mill. Since she did spend part of her life caged in a mill, we would really like to see Miss French in a forever home that has a fenced yard. She loves to run, play and explore – and she deserves a home that has a yard where she can do those things, off leash. Preference will be given to homes with a fenced yard.

She loves her chews and gladly plays and snuggles with her people. In her foster home she also loves to get in a snuggle with her fur siblings, both small and large. Here is what her foster mom had to say, “This dog is so sweet. She listens so well and she’s such a cuddle bunny!”

Miss French’s adoption fee is $300
