About 7 weeks ago, French Bulldog Village took in 8 frenchies from one home in Georgia. The original eight frenchies consisted of 6 males (Butch, Joey, Ringo, Patches, Gem, and Lover Boy) and 2 females (Thumbprint and Holly) ranging from 7 to 11 years of age.

We were fortunate to be introduced to a great vet in Georgia by one of our volunteers who gave us a generous discount on examining, spaying/neutering, microchipping and heartworm checking all the surrendered frenchies. We were very thankful to hear that all the dogs were heartworm negative, but some were found to have significant health issues.

Then, about two weeks ago, we received a call from the same owner asking us if we would take two more frenchies. Of course we said “yes!” Charm (7 years old) and Lady Di (9 years old) were picked up by one of our volunteers and taken to the amazing vet we used with the original 8. Lady Di and Charm were examined, spayed, microchipped and heartworm checked and found to be pretty healthy.

Given that all of the frenchies surrendered are 7 years and above, they have their fair share of health issues. Ringo has prostate cancer and will remain with FBV in hospice care. Holly (aka Halle Berry) passed away April 9, 2017 in her sleep at her foster home.

With all the bills that FBVillage has been incurring with this large rescue, we would be forever grateful if our supporters would make a donation to help the GA gang, as well as all of our other dogs in foster and hospice care. Please help and DONATE so that we can continue to meet the needs of all our special frenchies. No donation is too small!

When making a donation, PLEASE mention in the PayPal notes section that it is for the Georgia Gang! The French Bulldog Village is a 501 c3 non-profit and your donation will be 100% tax deductible.

We are so grateful for your support! Also, make sure to keep watching as the GA “foster” frenchies make their way to becoming available for adoption. You can never have too many frenchies!
