The French Bulldog Village recently took in eight Frenchies that were surrendered from one home! This is a large number for any rescue and we are grateful to be able to step in and help the owners. BUT, with rescue comes significant medical costs and so we must ask all of you for help.
The Georgia 8 Frenchies range in age from 7 to 11 years old and all of the dogs will need either a belly band or panties because they are likely not completely housebroken. There are 6 males (6 belly bands, $40 each) and 2 females (2 panties, $50 each). We have already had all 8 spayed/neutered, microchipped and tested for heartworm (all tested negative which is wonderful news!). Some have significant health issues but most of the dogs are healthy. We will continue to evaluate their behavioral and medical needs once they are placed with their foster families.
We were fortunate to be introduced to a great vet in Georgia by one of our volunteers and he has given us a generous discount. HOWEVER, any medical bill times 8 is huge!
So please help us and DONATE so that we can continue to meet the needs of not only these eight senior fosters, but also all of our foster and special needs dogs. No donation is too small! Another great way to help is to tell all your Frenchie friends to help us get the word out.
When making a donation, PLEASE mention in the PayPal notes section that it is for the Georgia 8! The FBV is a 501 c3 non-profit and your donation will be 100% tax deductible.
We are so grateful for your support!
