Update on Alum Zoe (formerly Sophie)

We received a wonderful update on Zoë (formerly Sophie) who was adopted back in 2017:

“Zoë is doing great. She's 27 months old now and inexhaustibly playful. She loves to go on walks around our neighborhood and really loves rolling around in grass. She doesn't have CMO flares anymore, but she does have some permanent sequelae. Most noticably, her jaw is crooked and the right side doesn't completely close, so her tongue always sticks out on that side. Luckily, she is able to eat, drink, and play, and she isn't in pain, so we (mom, dad, and the vets) aren't concerned about it affecting her quality of life at this point. She gets oohs, ahs, and gushes of compliments and adoration everywhere we go.”

Most people assume that Zoë is a boy…much to the dismay of her mom…even though she wears a pink harness and has a pink leash with a bright pink handle. She makes her forever family very happy, and her momma said, “We hope we make her very happy,” which everyone at the Village knows they do. Zoë is certainly spoiled and couldn’t ask for a better forever family!
