Bao in New York
Bao is not yet ready for adoption. We are still evaluating her personality and addressing her medical needs. An email notification will be sent when she becomes ready for adoption. Hi everyone! Meet Bao, a squishy-faced sweetheart with a heart as big as she is small (a pint-sized 19.2lbs)! She is 6 years old and was sadly left at the shelter when her person decided they didn’t have time for her—hard to believe, because she’s an absolute snuggle bug once she feels safe.
Bao has been working with her foster family and a trainer on her manners when passing people or barking dogs on the street, but she loves meeting gentle/quiet dogs. She’s housebroken, but like most Frenchies doesn’t like walkies in the rain, so has had a couple sneaky accidents in the house. She loves her bed and will happily tuck herself in when she sees her foster family getting ready to go to sleep.
She is up to date on her vaccines and microchipped. She also is healthy other than suffering from allergies which are managed with Cytopoint injections.
Bao’s had a tough few months, so she takes a little bit to warm up to new people but give her some patience (and treats!), and you’ll have a loyal, cuddly companion for life. Stay tuned for when Bao is ready to find her furever home!
