Meet Francois, better known to his adoring fans as Frankie — a five‑year‑old, 25‑pound gentleman who arrived at FBV with a suitcase full of love, good manners, and impeccable vet records. This boy didn’t come from hardship; he came from a home that adored him, and it shows in every soft-eyed glance and every happy little wiggle.
Frankie is healthy, neutered, chipped, and fully up to date on his shots — basically the rescue equivalent of showing up with his passport, résumé, and three glowing references.
He’s also house trained. Yes, you read that correctly. A Frenchie who already knows where to potty. Miracles do happen.
Now, let’s talk personality. Frankie is an energetic, gentle sweetheart who thinks every walk is a parade thrown in his honor. When he sees other dogs, he gets very excited — a little too excited — and can look reactive at first. But once he actually meets them, he’s friendly and social, like, “Oh! You’re not a mysterious creature… you’re my new best friend.”
And if you’re wondering about cats? Frankie has already passed the vibe check with all four resident felines. He’s respectful, curious, and wonderfully well-behaved around them.
This boy is the full package — loving, lively, social, sweet, and ready for his next chapter. We don’t expect him to be with us long… dogs like Frankie tend to get scooped up fast by families who recognize a gem when they see one.
For now, he’s charming everyone at FBV. Soon, he’ll be charming his forever family.
