Little Louie is not yet ready for adoption. We are still evaluating his personality and addressing his medical needs. An email notification will be sent when he becomes ready for adoption. Please join us in welcoming Little Louie to FBV! Louie is 6 years old, weighs 24 lbs, and is settling into foster care nicely.
He was seen by the vet and found to have a little bit of allergies…nothing too serious. He also has some backend issues. The vet said he has a mild luxating patella in the left leg but is not concerned about it at this time. An x-ray also showed some inflammation in his back, so he was started on medication. He doesn't seem to be in any pain from these issues, which is a good thing.
He has been walking great on a leash, listens very well and gets along great with the resident female dogs. He is not so keen on male dogs, though. He hasn’t shown any food or toy aggression thus far and has no problem going to the door when he wants to go outside to potty. However, he also wants to mark his territory in the house, so his foster family will be working on this.
Little Louie is quite the cuddle bug and will make a family very lucky once he is ready to find his forever home. Keep a lookout for when this handsome fella makes it to the available page!
