Lumi in Arizona
Lumi is not yet ready for adoption. We are still evaluating her personality and addressing her medical needs. An email notification will be sent when she becomes ready for adoption. Introducing Lumi! She is being fostered in Arizona and is enjoying all the sunshine!
We are still getting to know this sweet gal, but here is what we know so far:
Lumi is 3.5 years old and weighs approximately 18 pounds. She is an absolute sweetheart – a true Velcro dog following her foster dad’s EVERY step around the house. She is shy around new people, though, and will shake until reassured by foster dad that all is okay. She definitely needs time to warm up to people she doesn’t know well.
She is in great health so far and stole the hearts of everyone at the vet. She will be spayed in a few weeks. She is working on crate training (her previous home didn’t crate train her so she is learning what they are all about) and has been progressing very well with her “outside potties.”
She loves snuggling and car rides (she prefers riding shotgun!). She is great on a leash! When outside, she loves to roll around and get covered in dirt and debris. Foster dad has to wipe her down multiple times a day before heading back inside.
Her tongue stays out most of the time which is absolutely adorable! She also likes to do Frenchie yoga every morning, extending each rear leg separately as she stretches. She loves bath time and water. She also really loves bones and is not always keen on sharing them with her foster doggie brother.
