Meet Shelby Moon! Sweet Shelby was found tied to a car door in North Georgia, taken in by a shelter, and then came into the care of FBV. Other than that, we really don’t know much about her history.
It appears she may have had a litter of puppies at some point. She’s a little on the larger side for a female Frenchie as far as her overall size, but she’s a little thin right now and weighs in at 24 lbs. She’ll be visiting the vet ASAP for an evaluation for a possible respiratory infection and then will need to be spayed.
Her foster mom said so far, she has been the easiest foster. She seems completely housebroken. She had an accident or two over the first few days but is doing great now. She appears to love all other pets and people. She is ok on a leash but could use a little work. She also seems to know some basic commands like “come”, “sit” and “stay.”
She has the softest coat and the cutest wrinkly forehead. She is an expert-level snuggler and often seeks reassurance from her people. She is truly a wonderful girl!! She will for certain steal some hearts along the way.
We greatly appreciate any and all donations! $500 will help us provide Shelby Moon with some basic essentials, such as a leash and food, as well as help us cover some of her vet bills.
