Hi FBV Friends! Meet Bubba, an 8-year-old sweet boy. Sadly, Bubba's owner passed away, and the human next in line to take care of him found it too challenging to care for Bubba due to his work schedule.
Bubba is loving all the time and attention his foster mom is showering on him and has been thriving so far in his foster home. His personality is shining through as he has quickly become a noisy little shadow, always looking for a chance to be by his foster mom’s side or, better yet, on her lap. Foster mom has even had an audience for every bathroom visit. She and Bubba are becoming very close!! 🙂
When it comes to playtime, Bubba doesn't hold back. RIP Lamb Chop and Mr. Bunny. Within seconds, he decapitated Lamb Chop and then took no time to do the same to Mr. Bunny…and he was proud! He was already looking for his next victim when his foster mom decided to clean them all up and replace all stuffies with a Benebone, which he seemed to enjoy. He doesn't seem to need much entertainment. When he's not sleeping, he sits quietly, observing everything foster mom does without making a sound.
He is well-behaved but has gotten up to a few antics such as climbing the Christmas tree and using it to scratch his nose…not once, but twice! He LOVES the car and makes a great shotgun buddy. He seems to enjoy country music; but said no thank you to Taylor Swift.
He isn't a fan of the harness; he seems confused by it and won't walk at all when wearing it. He seems to be a very friendly boy, wanting to say hi to any neighbor who walks by or even looks in his direction. He lived with two other dogs, so supposedly he gets along with all dogs, but we will be assessing this while he is in our care. We are unsure about how he is with cats and children.
Foster mom is not sure if he knows his name or if he's just exhibiting typical selective hearing common in Frenchies, but he doesn't really react when called. He loves cheese—the only thing that got him to eat his first meal—and he meticulously picked the cheese pieces from the kibble.
His initial vet visit will be coming up soon so we will let everyone know more about his health after that. Be sure to follow our social media pages for updates on this precious soul!
