Ophelia in Florida
Ophelia is not yet ready for adoption. We are still evaluating her personality and addressing her medical needs. An email notification will be sent when she becomes ready for adoption. ♥Meet Ophelia!♥
This darling little lady just joined the French Bulldog Village family and is already stealing hearts left and right! At just 1 year and 3 months old, Ophelia is a bright, affectionate girl with a gentle soul and a whole lot of love to give.
Though she came to us quite underweight—just under 12 lbs—Ophelia is now on a nourishing feeding schedule and is already showing signs of blossoming into her healthiest, happiest self. She’s incredibly smart and eager to learn, especially as she begins her housebreaking journey. Having spent much of her early life crated, she’s starting from scratch, but her intelligence and sweet nature make her a joy to guide.
Ophelia is a world-class cuddler and has a special gift for charming older folks—her foster grandpa (age 85) is completely smitten! She recently went on a hike and despite being carried by her foster mom, still ended the day happily tuckered out.
Medically, she’s doing well: she was treated for Giardia and her most recent fecal test came back negative, so she’s all clear and feeling much better. She’ll need to be spayed, and once she’s had her second round of vaccinations, she’ll be ready to meet other pups. Given her past companionship with other dogs, we suspect she’ll be a social butterfly.
Ophelia is just beginning her journey, and we can’t wait to watch her blossom. Stay tuned—this little love bug is going places!
