My oh my…look who is available for adoption. It is sweet Angel! She is 2 years old and a healthy gal.

She is tolerant of all grooming and has no issues with resource guarding of food and toys. She does well with other dogs and would like a forever home that has at least one other dog to keep her company. While Angel has not been around children, it is suspected that she would do best in a home with older (ages 10+), dog savvy children. She is still very timid and does not do as well around lots of noise and activity.

We are not sure how she would do in a home with cats and small critters. However, out on walks, she has shown no interest in birds. Speaking of walks, she is doing better on a leash but will need continued training. She also does well on car rides.

Angel would prefer a home with a fenced yard but would also do well in a condo or apartment. She doesn’t absolutely love her crate but will go in it without issues when her foster family is away from home (which is about 2 hours at a time). She has also shown no separation anxiety.

She is laid back and a follower, not a leader. She likes to play with toys and does have a funny quirk of zipping laps around the yard a couple times when she has to poop. She is definitely like Velcro with her foster mom and loves to be loved; though, she does not ‘beg’ for it.

Angel is only partially housebroken. She is working on it, though and getting gold stars! Given her foster family is home a lot, she has the opportunity to go out often which is helping a lot.

She would love someone to be home with her all day but does not require it. If someone is not home all day, she will at least require a midday potty break. She also would make a great office dog as she does not bark much, jump up on people, and is pretty calm.

Angel loves to sleep in bed with her people and is very respectful of their space, just lying at their feet so as not to disturb them. Her favorite thing is an elk horn, and she loves small tennis balls. She is learning to fetch, but this is still a work in progress. She also has a stuffed squirrel that she enjoys chewing on.

Angel truly is an angel as she will cuddle up to her humans when they aren’t feeling well and will love you to the moon and back. She has such an adorable face that will absolutely steal your heart. You will not at all regret bringing this precious girl into your life. So make sure you apply for her immediately…you wouldn’t want to miss out on such a sweetheart!
