Hello all! I'm Athena and I am available for adoption! I am 1.5 years old and 18 pounds.

Like my namesake, I am intelligent and wise. Did you know that Athena invented the plow? Speaking of plows, I like to plow through my food and anyone else's food bowl, so I get fed in my crate. That being said, I'm on a bit of a diet until I lose a few more pounds.

Did you know that Athena also invented the chariot? Well, I too like chariots (cars) as long as I can look out the window. How boring is it not to be able to see everything? Plus, I am cute, and I need to be seen!

She was also the goddess of heroic endeavors. Well guess what? I too like her iOS endeavors, but I prefer mine in "rocket mode." My endeavors include meeting new people, new dogs and walks (I walk well on a leash!). However, I tend to jump up when excited and greeting new people so a home with small children would not be best for me.

I have a great temperament and can read your energy levels. I am happy to chill on the couch, supervise your antics in the mornings or practice my "rocket mode" for your entertainment.

I am learning to pee outside, but that grass stuff tickles my belly! It's weird but I'm really coming around to this is supposed to be what I go potty on. I have a potty pad OUTSIDE that I like to go #2 on. I'm going to need someone to help me learn as this is all new to me. I am kind of starting from square one on house training. I am kennel trained so far up to about 6-8 hours, staying quiet if another dog is crated nearby. So, that is good! 

I am a bit of an escape artist when you try to put up gates. That's cute. I will bust through them like the Kool-Aid man and a brick wall. "Engage Rocket Mode."

I'm adaptable and could see myself living anywhere. I would also prefer to have a fur sibling. Who am I supposed to share my toys with if I am the only fur baby in the house?
