Meet Bella, a 7-year-old (and roughly 28 lb) lady who has decided that middle age is the perfect time to work on self-improvement.
Bella is currently back in foster care after being adopted years ago, which basically makes her a bit of a seasoned professional at this point. Due to some life changes, her prior owner couldn’t spend the time with her that was needed. But she knows the drill when it comes to fostering.
Right now, she’s staying with first-time foster parents, and Bella has generously taken it upon herself to show them how the whole fostering thing works. Think of her as their slightly opinionated life coach with fur.
When Bella arrived, though healthy, she was carrying a little extra “fluff,” but she has already lost 2 pounds and is feeling quite proud of her new fitness journey.
Bella is a sweet girl, but she does have one firm personal boundary: she would really prefer to be the only pet in the home.
That said, she’s currently brushing up on some behavioral modification skills, which is just a fancy way of saying she’s learning better ways to handle life’s annoyances—like other animals existing.
Bella is smart, funny, and full of personality. She’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and remind you every day that life is better when someone is excited to see you come home.
What Bella really wants is a home where she can be the main character (and possibly the only character). In return, she promises loyalty, love & companionship. Basically, Bella will be ready to find her fur-ever home in no time at all.
