Meet Bella — Your One‑and‑Only, Snoring, Smiling, Velcro Sweetheart
At 7 years old and 32 pounds, Bella is a bubbly, goofy, deeply affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to be someone’s whole world — and she’ll happily give you her whole heart right back. She was recently returned to FBV when her previous owner’s life circumstances changed, but she has so much love left to give and is ready for a forever home that can give her the time, companionship, and stability she deserves.
Bella is healthy, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She tolerates baths like a champ and is generally good for nail trims, though she may pull her front paws away if she’s feeling unsure. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained — though she may pull a bit when she’s excited to explore. She knows sit, down, stay, and come, and she’s eager to please.
A People‑Loving, Velcro Goofball
Bella absolutely adores people. She’s a Velcro dog through and through — happiest when she’s close, touching you, or following you from room to room. She loves being petted, loves being talked to, and will even look up and smile when she’s getting affection. When she’s drifting off to sleep, she snores loudly in the most endearing way. And if you tell her “no,” she’ll grumble under her breath like a dramatic little gremlin.
She’s good with kids, but because she can get rambunctious and loves to jump up to greet people, she’ll do best with children 10+ who understand how to redirect her excitement.
Bella Must Be the Only Dog
Bella has strong verbal aggression toward other animals — dogs, cats, even dogs on TV or the resident chinchilla in its cage. She wants to be the center of attention and does not want to share her home, her people, or her space with other pets. She must be the only dog in the home, and she cannot live with cats. However, she may be okay in a home with caged pets (such as small animals kept securely in enclosures), as long as interactions are safely managed.
Energy, Play, and Daily Routine
Bella is medium‑to‑high energy and needs daily walks to burn off her enthusiasm. She loves her toys — especially her horn and her rubber monkey. She adjusts easily to changes in her eating schedule and is very reliable about not having accidents in the house.
She does need supervision outside because she will eat her own poop if given the chance. In the beginning, she may also need someone to walk outside with her because she doesn’t like being alone outdoors.
Bella can stay home during a workday and manages her mild separation anxiety well, but she truly thrives when someone is home often. She wants companionship, closeness, and a person who enjoys having a dog who is always nearby.
Home Requirements
Bella is flexible about her living situation — she’d do well in a house, apartment, or condo as long as she gets her walks and exercise. A fenced yard is preferred but not required. What matters most is that she has a human who loves her, guides her, and enjoys her affectionate, silly, loyal nature.
Bella Deserves Her Forever
Bella has been in and out of several homes, none of which were her fault. She is ready — truly ready — for a permanent place where she can finally exhale. She wants a family who will love her unconditionally, laugh at her goofy antics, guide her with kindness, and let her be the cherished, one‑and‑only dog she was born to be.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will snore beside you, smile up at you, follow you everywhere, and fill your home with joy, Bella is waiting with her rubber monkey in tow.
