Introducing Bennie the Love Bug!

Weighing in at a cuddly 22 pounds, this 1-year-old little guy is here to steal your heart all the way from Florida. 

He gets along with both men and women. He currently does not live with human kiddos but loves the neighborhood kids that come to visit nearly every day. 

He might have a mild grass allergy, but nothing that wiping his paws doesn't solve.

He is not on any special food or medications. He also is good with all grooming.

He likes other dogs. However, he will need calm energy and slow introductions when arriving to his new home as he feeds off other dogs’ excitement and may nip at them. He also is curious and likes to chase cats out of playfulness. Therefore, a yard would probably be best. We are not sure if he likes to chase other critters like squirrels so better safe than sorry.

Bennie was returned to FBV due to housebreaking issues. While it is still a work in progress, it has improved. He does okay on a leash (though he pulls a little) but isn't sure yet if he should potty if he's on a leash. He goes potty every few hours and has a certain little whine that means he needs to go outside. Having someone home often or a dog walker coming midday to help keep him on a schedule would be great.

He doesn’t mind his crate but prefers to be able to see you.  He has pretty good manners but will jump in excitement (he is only 1 after all!). He is outgoing, loves meeting new people and is good on car rides. He loves getting hugs and kisses as well as playing with stuffed toys and chewing on Nylabones.

So get ready for a love bug overload in this handsome fellow! He is what you've been waiting for!
