Bogart in Virginia— ADOPTED!!!

Bogart has been adopted by a wonderful dad who loves him dearly already! Bogart not only has a great new dad, but he also has a new doggie sibling. He and his sibling are getting along well together. Please join us in congratulating Bogart and his forever family!

Bogart is a handsome, 8-year-old gentleman being fostered in Virginia. He was surrendered because his family no longer had enough time to spend with him. Due to their busy lives, Bogart was spending too much time in his crate. They lovingly surrendered him so that he could find a forever home where he will be the center of attention.

Bogart has allergies and is on a special diet. He also sometimes regurgitates a few hours after he eats. He would do best in a home as an only dog. However, he does live with other dogs in his foster home and gets along with small dogs unless toys or food are involved. He is very bully when it comes to toys and food.

He would prefer an adoptive home with a fenced yard, but it is not required. He is housebroken and leash trained. He is also crate trained but prefers not being crated. He would strive in a home where he is not left for a long period of time. Someone who works from home or can take him to work is ideal. At the very least, he would require a midday visit from a dog walker or preferably his person. He has some separation anxiety and really does not like being in his crate if it can be helped. He also would do best in a home that is calm with no kids or with older, dog savvy children.

He loves being with his humans and gets very nervous when he doesn’t see them. If his foster mom is on the computer and he wants her attention, he will sit close to her and paw her until he gets her attention. He likes toys and knows the command “sit.”

Bogart is a very calm and happy boy! If you want a pup who absolutely will love being with you, please apply for this sweetie.
