Bombon in Florida- ADOPTED!!
Who’s ready to shake their Bombon with this beautiful gal?
Bombon is a stunning 20-month-old young lady who is looking for her forever home where she can wiggle, wiggle her little non-existent tail off! Here is a little message from Bombon:
Hello humans and future dance partners! I am Bombon. Life is a Cabaret, and I am ready to fox trot into a home where I can be my young, silly self. I am still in the process of potty training but am a fast learner. Currently, I use potty pads. I am pretty good at them but sometimes cut it a little close to the edge and spill over. I will waltz outside but like to sniff and think about where I want to go do my business. I am all for Singing in the Rain, just at my pace. In my early life, I was in a crate day and night and still have anxiety about crates when in them for a long period of time. Not a fan. Let me repeat…not a fan. This may also be a reason I need to be watched at potty time, so I don’t eat poo. It would be great if there was someone home all day so we could practice making me the Mikhail Baryhnikov of dogs. Who wants to be in a crate when I can cha-cha with YOU?!?!?
I am still in puppy mode and crave attention and to be center stage. I love to be in the same room with humans - big ones and little ones. I like men and women and children that are understanding of Frenchies. I have a tendency to jump to say hello and play bite so older kids would be best. Think little doggie jazz hands!
I am mostly leashed trained, so this helps with meeting new furry friends and humans. Speaking of limitations, a fenced yard is recommended since I like to occasionally cut loose like Kevin Bacon dancing in a warehouse and fetch a toy or ball! I am not curious about the yard creatures or ones I’ve seen on my walks, not even Black Swans. I have never really been around real cats (just the ones on Broadway!) so I am not sure how well we would partner together.
I am not good with stairs AT ALL. I can pirouette like a Premiere when no one is looking but I am clumsy, so it is recommended that I be carried like a Johnny lifting Baby through the air in Dirty Dancing (or in this case, up and down the stairs) or the stairs baby-gated off. If you can sing “Now, I’ve had the time of my life….” at the same time, that would be great.
My talent agent (Foster mom) allows me to sleep in a doggy bed on the floor, beside the bed. I have this routine down! What can I say? It’s now my nightly rhythm. Just wake me up before you go-go.
I like to be chauffeured. I do well in a car, RV, tour bus - you name it. I even do well in restaurant settings where my fans can give me pets from the floor. I love to snuggle and cuddle and all that jazz!
Oh, and like any Broadway diva, I love a good grooming sesh! I have the typical FB allergies which are being managed with a good diet (Royal Canin - Limited Ingredient Whitefish and Potato) as well as 1/4 of a Ketoconazole (anti-fungal) after breakfast. Being that I am a lilac Frenchie, me having itchy skin and ears sometimes is pretty common and might flare up. As of right now, I am as good as new.
I’d love to shimmy into a new home where I can be the star- I know I am! Are you the Billy Elliott to my Roxie Hart? If so, apply to make me your lead and let’s dance off into the sunset or at least like it’s Saturday Night Fever and the Bee Gees are playing in the background!
