Cora in Arizona- ADOPTED!

Introducing Cora, the French Bulldog extraordinaire!

At just 2 years young and a petite 25 lbs, Cora is ready to wiggle her way into your heart and home. This spunky lady is not your average Frenchie – she's a pop culture-loving, adventure-seeking pup with a heart of gold!

Cora's journey hasn't been easy. Despite facing adversity, she's a survivor who's overcome health challenges with grace and resilience. From stenotic nares surgery to a palate reconstruction, this girl has conquered it all and emerged stronger than ever.

She also has allergies for which she receives Cytopoint injections. Without the shots, she is very itchy. She also needs to eat specific food (Purina Pro Plan salmon & rice with sweet potato) and treats, or she will suffer from diarrhea.

Cora's not just a pretty face – she's got personality for days! With a playful spirit and a mischievous streak, she'll keep you entertained with her antics. From stealing socks to engaging in epic tug-of-war battles, there's never a dull moment with Cora around.

Although she's a social butterfly who loves meeting new people, Cora would be best with older (ages 10+) children. With her high energy level, there is the potential to knock a young child down. She just doesn’t realize her own strength. She also can get mouthy during playtime.

Cora gets on well with the resident male Boston Terrier but has had issues with female dogs in the past. She will need a home with only male dogs and dogs who are more docile. Slow introductions will also be a must with resident dogs. She has shown no signs of resource guarding of food or water in her foster home. However, she can get possessive over bones.

We are not sure how she would do in a home with cats but possibly with slow introductions with a calm cat, she may do okay. Out on walks, she has a natural curiosity for them….staring at them but not lunging or attempting to attack.

Cora is crate trained but is working on walking better on a leash. She is only partially housebroken, having about one accident a week in the house. A home in which someone can provide a midday potty break is best. Given her energy level and love to play, it would also be ideal for her to have a home with a fenced yard for her to romp in.

But don’t let Cora’s high energy fool you – she also knows how to kick back and relax. After a day filled with adventures (she rides great in the car!), you'll find her sprawled out on the floor, frog-legged and content, with her caramel-colored eyes sparkling with joy.

Now, Cora is on the lookout for her perfect match. She's seeking a forever family who shares her zest for life and can provide her with continued training, as well as the love and attention she deserves. With her infectious charm and boundless affection, Cora is sure to make a paw-some addition to any home.

So if you're ready to embark on a magical journey with a furry companion unlike any other, look no further than Cora. Together, you'll write the next chapter of her story – one filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures.
