Elvis in Florida- ADOPTED!!
Elvis has the best new family! He has an amazing mom and dad who absolutely love him dearly. He also has 3 doggie siblings and a tortoise brother. Elvis’ new parents have a ton of experience with brachycephalic breeds including English Bulldogs, Boxers, and French Bulldogs. They have both owned and fostered brachycephalic dogs. We know that Elvis is in great hands and couldn’t have asked for a better home for this sweet little guy!
Hello fans! Thanks for coming to see me. I’m Elvis. I recently found myself “all shook up“ and looking for my forever home. I am an older gentleman at the age of 12. And I am a “hunk-a-hunk of burning love” tipping the scale at 22 pounds.
I am a laid-back fellow just wanting you to “love me tender” in my golden years. I need a little help with my eyes. They’re dry and I need drops (Cyclosporine) twice a day for the rest of my life. I am hoping that’s not “too much”! My eyesight isn’t the greatest (and neither is my hearing). I don’t always see stairs, so I’ll need help with that too.
I need to be fed separately. Food is “always on my mind” and I will guard it. I like other dogs (and cats), but I don’t like other dogs sniffing me or trying to play with me. What is that about? They need to go their “separate ways.” I prefer to hang out with humans. I will be “stuck on you.” If that included belly rubs or car rides, even better.
“If I can dream,” it would be a home with kiddos over 10, lots of comfy places to lounge in, quick strolls or a chance to nap in the sun. Foster mom says I need to have “a little less conversation” when meeting new people (I will bark) but eventually warm up. So when you first meet me, don’t have “suspicious minds.”
“Can’t help falling in love” with me can you? I am housebroken, crate trained, leash trained and love a good Nylabone (not your blue suede shoes) to chew on.
So, “Are you lonesome tonight?” Could I be your “Hound Dog?” Will you “Let me be your teddy bear?” Go ahead and apply for me… I have a lot of fans so “it’s now or never!”
