Introducing Ember!!! She is 2 years old and warms hearts wherever she goes with her cheerful disposition and glowing personality!
Ember came to us in need of an urgent colopexy for a rectal prolapse. At the time of her colopexy, she was also spayed. She continues to improve a little more each day post-surgery and is counting down the days to not have such strict limitations so she can play with the resident Frenchies. She continues to have diarrhea but is being fed a bland diet as she continues to recover. She is gaining weight, too, as you can see in the comparison picture posted.
Ember will potty outside when taken out and does well in a crate, but because of her diarrhea, foster mom has been confining her in a small room to allow her to use piddle pads as needed. She has briefly met the resident dogs without any behavior issues noted. However, it has been determined that Ember’s ideal home will most likely be one without cats.
Ember is a sweet, silly, loving and playful gal who greets everyone she meets with corkscrew tail wags and kisses! She is going to make someone very lucky when she is ready to find her forever home.
We greatly appreciate any and all donations! $1000 will help us provide Ember with some basic essentials, such as a leash and food, as well as help us cover some of her vet bills.
