Gia in Georgia- ADOPTED!

Well, hello there! My name is Gia and I love everything and everyone except CATS! No cats whatsoever. Gross.

I don’t want to get ahead of myself. Again, my name is Gia. I am a 6-year-old bundle of snuggle love. I am also an excellent home supervisor - doesn’t matter if you’re remodeling or working from home….I AM YOUR GIRL!

I’m also your girl if you have a big yard. This is because I love to run and be chased by my foster brother (I let him think he wins our little races). What I love even more are mud puddles, playing in the water and then after my “tolerated” bath, to snuggle under the covers.

Speaking of things I only tolerate….my foster brother sharing MY toys. Foster mom says I get an “F” in this category. And about toys, I love to destroy them. I also eat in the other room as a precaution from a scuffle when I first arrived at my foster home.

I need slow introductions with new dogs. Foster mom says sometimes when I meet new dogs I get “assertive.” I am actually pretty dominate with my foster fur siblings but they “get me” and we’ve figured out boundaries.

Speaking of boundaries, I need to see you at all times. I don’t do well with not having my people around and have gotten used to and prefer to have someone home at all times. I am crate trained but prefer not to be crated.

Hey, did I mention I am housebroken? Well, I AM! Did I also mention I am not a morning person? Well, I’m not. I like to take my time and do all my yoga stretches in the morning. My switch finally gets flipped on when I hear my food bowl. I am up! I am up! Once I’m done with my breakfast, it’s time for my walk, so let’s go!

I have had a history of mass cell tumors (grades 1 and 2), but I have been healthy for a long time now. Part of me staying in zoomie shape is my love of all things outdoors. Foster mom keeps me pretty by wiping my paws with Chlorhexidine wipes and using Duoxo for my sometimes itchy skin.

If you think I’d make a good yard, project, human supervisor, then you should absolutely apply to hire me. Will work for snuggles, treats and yummy food!
