Meet Liliana — A Stuffy-Loving Snuggle Bug
At 5 years and 8 months old, Liliana is a petite 16-pound pup with a calm spirit and a soft spot for oversized stuffed animals. She’s the kind of dog who’ll quietly curl up beside you, entertain herself with a bone, and sleep so deeply she won’t even notice you’ve come home — unless you’re bringing snacks, of course.
Liliana came to rescue after struggling with nighttime anxiety in her previous apartment, but she’s thriving in her foster home, where she lives peacefully with dogs and dog-savvy cats. She’s housebroken, crate-comfortable, and knows her basic commands (sit, down, stay, come). She’s also a champ on leash and enjoys daily walks and backyard zoomies — just don’t expect her to tackle stairs or ramps like a pro.
This mellow girl is moderately affectionate: she’ll snuggle up next to you, sleep on a pillow by your head, and accept kisses — but only for about 5–10 seconds. Liliana values her personal space and prefers gentle companionship over smothering cuddles. If her space is invaded too much, she’ll let you know with a polite growl — it’s her way of saying “please back off.” She’s great with adults and okay with kids but would do best in a home with children over 8 who understand her need for boundaries.
Liliana gets along with dogs of all sizes and can coexist with cats, though she prefers slow introductions and space when resting. She doesn’t play with other dogs but will happily nap near them — as long as they respect her bubble. She has mild toy guarding (a growl, never a bite) and a quirky habit of choosing toys bigger than her face. Bonus fun fact: she’s a champion farter. Like, impressively so.
She’s not on any medications, is spayed, and doesn’t require a fenced yard (though it’s a plus). She can be left alone for 5–6 hours and will often retreat to her crate to chill. She’s laid-back, low-maintenance, and would thrive as an only dog or with a mellow canine companion.
Liliana’s looking for a home that understands her quiet charm, her love of stuffies, and her need for space — could that be you?
