Whew, am I glad to see you! My name is Lucy Lou. I am 9 and weigh about 24 lbs.

I came to the rescue with chronic dermatitis and the typical Frenchie itchies. When I first got here, my little feet were swollen because the only way I knew to make them feel better was to lick them. Wiping my feet weekly and getting a Cytopoint shot have changed my world for the better! I get that shot about every 4-6 weeks. I am also on a limited ingredient diet (no chicken).

I don't mind being groomed but I have a foot issue. Given how bad my feet used to be, I am not a huge fan and will pull my feet away when you wipe them. It's not personal.

So far so good with all humans and dogs! Boys, girls, big, little - it doesn't matter to me! I don't know about cats, birds or outdoor critters like the illusive squirrel. I like to play but I like to lay on the couch and chew a bone more.

I would not be a great apartment dog. I bark during play and bark at every noise. I am housebroken and will whine to indicate I need to go potty if in my crate or whine at the door if not. I am leash and crate trained. I also know the following commands: sit, stay, down and come. Being very food motivated definitely helped me with my training!

I don’t require a fenced yard or someone to be home all the time with me, but a midday potty break would be best. Slow introductions to other dogs and separate feeding would be best as well. I get super excited over food and will stick my head in everyone's bowls so feeding me separately will avoid issues with resident dogs.

If you have a couch that needs sat on, I am your girl! Please apply!
