Way to go, Max!! You have found an amazing forever home with a new mom and dad and a new Frenchie sister. We are so excited for you! We know that you are going to be very loved and are about to have some awesome new adventures with your family. We hope to hear all about them. Enjoy your new life handsome boy!

Hi world…my name is Max.  I think I am quite handsome for 3yrs old....don't you?  I came to this wonderful rescue because my previous family had very long working hours and young children, so they thought it was best I go to a family who had lots of time for me.  I think I am a pretty happy go lucky guy.

I love to play with my foster siblings.  I can literally play all day long with another dog; my play battery never dies.  Sometimes my favorite playmate gets tired, and I continue to pester him to keep playing.  My foster mom has to crate me for a little bit to give him a break.  I would love another high energy dog to play with all day in my forever home.

I also can play rough and still try to mount other dogs.  I recently had that snip snip surgery foster mom said so I hope after some time I won't want to do that so much.  That being said, tiny dogs and fragile dogs shouldn't be allowed around me because I'll want to play rough with them.  I have not been observed around larger dogs, but I think I would like to play with them too.  Cats....well.....I've never seen one.  I would probably chase cats and maybe try to get them to play with me too, but I'm really not sure.

Kids…I love kids. I love running around and playing with them and my toys.  I can be a bit mouthy (no biting, but I'll put my mouth on you and leave you with some slobber) and might jump on them so older children would be best.  I also like going for walks, but I'm still learning to walk on a leash without pulling; foster mom puts a no-pull harness on me and I'm good to go!  Did I also mention that I’m a chunky boy at 34 lbs. I am a lean mean playing machine.

I'm crate trained.  I sometimes make a fuss in my crate but calm down after a few minutes.  I have not had any accidents in my crate while my foster mom is at work…apparently, that's being a good boy.  I have, though, had a few potty accidents in the house.  I have done much better with being taken out more frequently when I am done playing.

Overall, I am quite a catch, foster mom says.  She said she wants an active family that will love me for the rest of my life and give me all the lovin’s I deserve.  She would love another high energy playmate for me, but I would also do well as an only dog. I would just need lots of exercise and belly rubs.
