Welcome Milani (aka Millie) to French Bulldog Village!
Meet Milani, affectionately known as Millie—a one-year-old, 18.8-pound sweetheart who’s already stealing hearts in her foster home. This brave little Frenchie came from an animal hoarding situation and spent seven weeks in a shelter before coming to FBV.
♦ Her Journey So Far: Millie arrived not knowing what stairs, toys, or treats were—but she’s learning fast and soaking up love like a sponge. She’s incredibly grateful to her foster mom and the Village for providing her with the care she needs, and she’s blossoming more each day.
♦ Personality & Home Life:
- Gets along beautifully with her three Frenchie sisters and human, toddler brother
- Loves snuggling on the couch, gentle play, and exploring grassy yards
- Sweet and gentle with children, but not afraid to stand her ground when needed (especially if one of her doggie foster sisters gets a little too sassy!)
♦ Training Progress: Millie is making great strides with potty and leash training, especially considering her background. She’s partially housetrained and continues to improve with consistency and care.
♦ Medical Update: Millie is currently being treated for persistent Giardia and may have histiocytic ulcerative colitis (HUC), a condition potentially linked to an E. coli infection. Her medical conditions are causing her to have ongoing bloody diarrhea, which is being closely monitored and managed by her foster family and veterinary team. She’s now under the care of an internal medicine specialist and has begun a diagnostic and treatment plan. While her GI symptoms are challenging, Millie’s spirit remains strong—and we’re hopeful her health will continue to improve with the right care.
Millie is a resilient little girl with a heart of gold. She’s learning what it means to be a dog—discovering toys, enjoying treats, and finding joy in the simple things. With continued love and support, she’s well on her way to becoming the happy, healthy pup she was always meant to be.
