Hi everyone! It’s me…Nutella, and I have some exciting news for you all. The moment you have all been waiting for is here…I am available for adoption!!!

I am 1 year old and weigh 22 lbs. I am a real lover of toys and bones….but not so much balls. I need those indestructible stuffed toys they have as I am good at getting the stuffing out. I also am affectionate…love to snuggle and to give small kisses to my people.

I love adventures and going places with my people. I have been known to be mischievous and will need supervision. I will grab clothes out of laundry baskets and drag them around as well as shred paper and pull on blankets. But I can also be lazy at times just wanting to lounge around on the couch.

I am not a huge fan of baths and nail trims. I will try to get out of the tub during bathtime and am quite wiggly during nail trimmings. A fenced yard is definitely a preference of mine. As you see, I like to take my time to go potty and I like a bit of privacy when I poo. I also am not a huge fan of walking on a leash.

I have healthy skin and ears but do have grade 2-3 patellar luxation (a condition in which the kneecap slips out of position) in both my knees. Currently, I do not show any signs of lameness and take Dasuquin to help with joint health. However, I could potentially need knee surgery in the future…only time will tell.

I don’t resource guard toys, people, or food but foster mom feeds me and all the resident dogs separately. I get along splendidly with children of all ages and other dogs. I do like to pick up things in my mouth, though, so small child toys will need to be picked up and kept away. I am not so sure how I would be around cats, but I can definitely tell you birds are a “no” for me.

Okay…not going to lie about this…I am still struggling with potty training, but I promise I am working hard on it. I do much better when closely watched and taken out frequently and will need someone who will be patient with me. The more freedom I am given, the more accidents I have.

I love my crate and will sleep quietly in it all night. I have yet to soil my crate and can go without pottying while being crated for several hours. I will eat my poo and try to drink my urine, though, if given the opportunity so you gotta watch for that.

I would love a forever home with at least one other dog. However, I do like to steal toys from other dogs so please make sure that any resident dog will be tolerant of this. I don’t need a person home all day with me but would need a midday potty break. Or going to work with my person would be awesome too!

I am sweet and beloved just like my namesake and have been told that I have the cutest little wiggle butt when meeting people. I know if you let me, I could definitely wiggle myself right into your heart! So make sure you apply!
