Meet Rubble — the 10‑year‑young gentleman who proves age is nothing but a number.
Rubble is that rare, heart‑melting mix of easygoing, goofy, and wonderfully well‑mannered. At about 34 pounds, he’s the perfect “just right” size — big enough for adventures, small enough for couch snuggles — and he carries himself with the joyful energy of a dog who still has so much life and love to give.
Rubble’s foster family describes him as an absolute dream. He’s fully housebroken, walks like a perfect angel on a leash, and is beautifully behaved in his crate (though he’ll wiggle with excitement when you come home — he can’t help it, he loves his people). He sleeps happily at the end of the bed or tucked into his crate, whichever fits your routine.
Socially, Rubble is a star. He does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and has that lovely, respectful play style — he’ll romp if the other dog wants to, and he’ll back off politely if they don’t. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but based on his temperament, we don’t expect him to react poorly. He’s not a big toy guy, but hand him a good bone and he’s in heaven.
Personality‑wise, Rubble is a goofball with a huge heart. He’s affectionate and gentle, happy to let you hug and cuddle him, but he’s not demanding about it. He’s the kind of dog who quietly fits into your life, brings joy without asking for much, and makes every day feel a little lighter.
Health‑wise, Rubble is already neutered and will be heading to the vet for his initial checkup and to have a small lump on his eyelid evaluated. He’s feeling great, full of pep, and ready for the next chapter.
Rubble is the whole package — sweet, steady, silly, and so easy to love. When he’s ready, he’ll be looking for a family who will cherish his golden‑year sparkle and give him the warm, happy home he deserves.
