Ruby in California– ADOPTED!!

Our little Ruby has found her furever home! She has a new human mom and dad and a Frenchie brother with whom to play. She’s come a long, long way from her rescue earlier this year! Congrats Ruby girl—you deserve the best!

Ruby is a sassy 30-pound bundle of joy and excitement. Another rescue asked us to take Ruby into our care, and of course, we stepped up to the plate (or should we say dog bowl)! We don’t know a lot about Ruby’s past except that she has been bred before and had several litters of puppies. She has been spayed and is estimated to be around 3 years of age.

Ruby loves food; she doesn’t care what kind…dog food, her foster mom’s Easter tulips, rocks, grass…it’s all tasty to her! She also loves people. She’ll roll over, show them her tummy and is over the moon if they give her a scratch. She tolerates her foster doggie siblings but does not share food well, so supervision is required at mealtime. She would really prefer to just eat separate from the pack. She follows the pack of resident pups to the potty patch and is 80% potty trained. She has learned her name and the sit command as well.

She is truly a love bug but will require someone with patience, kindness, love, and perhaps a home office.  She has a crate in her foster home, but the door is always left open.  After dinner, she will go in there to nap. Ruby is leash trained and will either need to be taken out on leash or let out to potty and play in a fenced yard.

She enjoys walks when it’s cool outside and would love a family who is active and will take her on vacation and out to meet other people. She would love a home that will give her the life and love she so deserves.
