Sebi in New York
Sebi is not yet ready for adoption. We are still evaluating his personality and addressing his medical needs. An email notification will be sent when he becomes ready for adoption. Introducing Sebi!! Sebi made his way to FBV after being abandoned at the vet in an exam room by his owner. He was brought into the clinic for hind end paralysis. He is 5 years old and 33 lbs. He is up to date on his care and has already been neutered.
He has shown improvement in his mobility with the help of the wonderful team at the vet where he was left. He now walks but is just wobbly. He is also continent of his bladder and bowels. Sebi will require continuous monitoring of his spine and mobility as there is evidence of prior back injuries/IVDD episodes.
Sebi has shown some separation anxiety which will take some time to work through. His name really should be “Shadow” as he loves to follow his person’s every move! He is very affectionate and wants very much to have you in his sight.
Sebi gravitates more towards humans and would be super happy just to spend all day sleeping on your lap. He demonstrated some resource guarding of his foster mom with the resident dog in his last foster home and so now is in a new foster home with no other dogs.
He hasn’t quite figured out toys yet, but we know this will come. He does love toilet bowls, though, so make sure those lids are closed!! He also loves pup cups!
Sebi is a sweet, loving, trusting ball of love! Please keep an eye out for updates on how he is progressing in foster care.
