VINNY! The OG from the OC!

This 32-pound, neutered, microchipped chunk of love is looking for his forever home.

He loves adults and bigger kiddos!

Vinny hasn’t seen a surgeon (plastic or otherwise). He also has no special needs or illnesses.

His future vet visits will consist of anal gland expression and obtaining a vet prescribed ear wash that needs to be given by his person weekly. He is not fond of either of these. Vinny does, however, enjoy a good beauty routine of bathing and pawdicures.

Vinny doesn't have any special food needs but does currently eat raw. His favorite snacks are Nylabones and yak chews!

Vinny is human Velcro! He gets very excited when his person comes home and will sometimes jump up. He is friendly with strangers but will jump up on them too. His jumping is something that will continue to need some work.

It would be IDEAL if his people were home a lot. He has become very accustomed to that lifestyle. He loves car rides and lots of walks.

Vinny NEEDS to be an ONLY child!!! He does not like to share his love, his space or his people. Because of his aggression towards other dogs, he must be leashed! You will need to constantly remind him that other people have dogs too:) and that's okay.

He has worked with a professional dog trainer while in rescue. The training comes with a lifetime guarantee and is transferable to the new owner for a small fee (paid for by the owner).

Vinny won't be giving you a blow out, making you a smoothie or sweeping your floors anytime soon as he is working on tolerating these sounds. He sleeps in bed with his foster mom so would love to continue this in his new home. However, you will need to watch him to prevent jumping up on the bed so that he does not hurt himself. Stairs were tried but he did not take to them.

Vinny is completely housebroken but not crate trained. He is fine living in a condo or apartment but would really love a great big yard! He loves to play!
