Wilbur in Florida– ADOPTED!!
Wilbur has been adopted!!! We are so excited for him. He has an awesome new mom and is an only dog so is getting all the lovins to himself! This little guy couldn’t want for more and is going to have an amazing remainder of his life being spoiled. Congrats to Wilbur and his forever mom!
Who's ready for some puppy love? 9-month-old Wilbur is ready for adoption. He's a big healthy boy weighing in at 27lbs. Wilbur was surrendered by his family when their senior dogs were not fans of his puppy energy.
Wilbur needs a home where other dogs are submissive because he likes to be in charge and take all the toys. He will take things out of other dogs' mouths if he wants what they have so they will have to be ok with that. He likes children but they will need to be older than 8 years due to his energy level and tendency to jump on them. He is also fed separately to avoid any doggy conflicts, but his humans can take his food with no issues.
Wilbur is a busy body and likes entertainment in his life. He loves walks, toys, and playing with other dogs. He is a total clown and will tease everyone with his squeaky toys. He has done very well with potty training but will sometimes mistake a rug for a potty pad. He is crate trained, leash trained, and knows sit, fetch, leave it, come, and heel. He is such a smart puppy!
Wilbur would love an active family who will play, throw the ball for him, and go on walks. He loves to lie in the sunshine and after playing, cuddle on with couch with his foster family.
